Parent tipBefore starting, count real fruit together at snack time. Then let your child touch each apple on the sheet with a finger as they count.

How to use this worksheet

  1. Point to the first row and count the apples out loud together.
  2. Help your child write the number in the box. Dots to trace are fine for beginners.
  3. Finish with the bonus: color the biggest number red.
